Combine on top of double boiler
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 TBS butter
1 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup canned milk
1/8 tsp salt
Stir until thickened (will thicken more as it cools) Do not let water boil. Cook slowly. Add 1 tsp vanilla
Serve over ice cream.
